The heyday of 90s/00s pop perfectly aligned with my teen years so I harbor no shame in my love for that whole genre of music.  “Glory” is equal parts intricate and playful, a tease, a party, a conversation, maybe even a comeback. Painted to Britney Spears’ 9th studio album, the visual journey goes high and low—always with the beat, grounded with the movement, and expressed with carefree abandon.

The Soundtracks : Freestyle series and technique explores the nature of freestyling through painting, visually communicating a musicality and choreography of movement through color and application of strokes and paint onto a surface. The inspiration of each piece draws from my relationship with the medium, the relationship through songs and lyrics, and the musicality of each track and how I would reinterpret it into visual form rather than movement.
